How it works
Toastmasters learning is based on practice and the continuous development of communication and leadership in a supportive environment. Four principles guide this learning:
- Experiential learning: practise by giving speeches and taking on leadership roles.
- Peer feedback: improve public speaking through honest, positive evaluations from fellow members, helping one another grow.
- Mentoring: experienced members encourage and guide others towards their goals and beyond their current limits.
- Self-paced learning: develop skills at your own pace and decide how quickly to progress.
